Steve McAllister, Chief Executive Officer
Steve has extensive general management and sales/marketing
experience gained in several of Australia's leading service
oriented businesses including Healthscope Ltd and Spotless
Ltd. He comes to Amdel having held a number of senior management
roles at the company's previous parent, Healthscope Ltd. Steve
holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (App.Chem) and a Graduate
Diploma in Business Management.
Chris Nunis, Chief Financial Officer
Chris is a qualified Chartered Accountant with broad management
and finance experience gained in a diverse cross section of
industries. Chris has solid experience in private equity,
mergers & acquisitions and production capacity planning.
Beginning his career at KPMG, Chris has more recently held
senior positions in companies including Orica Limited, Aust.
Vinyls Corp and Howe Leather.
David Clinton, General Manager Business Development,
Sales & Marketing
David brings a wealth of Sales, Marketing and General Management
experience to Amdel having spent 18 years with the Shell Group
of Companies across Australia and overseas. Working primarily
in the B2B industrial market sectors, David has led large
sales teams across Australia & New Zealand, held senior
marketing roles in Canada as well as general management positions
in the South Pacific and Australia. David holds a Bachelor
of Engineering Degree (Mechanical) from the South Australian
Institute of Technology, Adelaide.
Brian Watson, General Manager, NZLabs - New Zealand
Brian started with Amdel in 1982 and has held a number of
roles working up to the position of Petroleum Services Manager
in 1991 and Manager of Petroleum and Materials in 1997. In
late 2002 Brian was appointed General Manager Gribbles Analytical
New Zealand / Amdel Limited New Zealand. Brian has a BSc (Chemistry
and Geology) from the University of Wollongong and is currently
enrolled in a MSc at Adelaide University.
Janine Herzig, General Manager, Minerals & Industrial
– Eastern Australia
Janine brings 15 years of experience as a Metallurgist to
Amdel, having worked at numerous mine sites and processing
plants across Australia in various capacities from a Graduate
Metallurgist to Principal Metallurgist and on many projects,
including due diligence, feasibility studies, Greenfield’s
startups and pilot plant trials. Janine has a BE (Hons) in
Mineral Processing from the University of Queensland. Janine
also actively participates in the wider professional community,
serving on the South Australian Branch Committee of the AusIMM
and being recently elected to the Accreditation Panel for
the Institution of Engineers Australia.
Phillip Paul, General Manager, WA Minerals – Western
Australia
Phillip Paul joins Amdel with extensive General Management
experience gained in the Industrial Fused sector. He has a
technical background which was well developed at the BHP
Steelworks in Newcastle, where he assumed a number of metallurgy
/ management roles. Phillip has hands-on skills in the
implementation of a number of Quality systems, which include ISO
9002 (Production, Installation and Servicing) and ISO 14001
(Environmental Systems).
Jim Gonis, General Manager, Environmental
Jim comes to Amdel following 10 years experience in sales,
service and distribution of technical scientific instrumentation.
In his previous role, Jim was responsible for the overall
operation of the US-listed multinational instrument supplier,
PerkinElmer, in the Australasian region. In his role as company
director, Jim was exposed to company integrations, due diligence
studies, revenue recognition compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley and
audit testing. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from
Monash University, with Honors in Organic Chemistry. Jim also
holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from Monash University.
