Our commitment to quality is demonstrated by the extent of our laboratory accreditation to ISO 17025 (NATA) and the certification of our laboratory Quality Management System to ISO 9001. Our highly trained personnel have considerable experience in on-shore and off-shore testing and general laboratory work and can provide on-site sampling and test services.
Amdel offer a comprehensive range of services including:
- Crude oil assays to simulate refinery production and blending of fractions with subsequent testing to determine the quality of the crude.
- Physical testing of crude, condensate and petroleum products to ASTM or equivalent standards.
- Gas and liquid composition of high pressure gases, high pressure liquids and stabilised products. Our trained field technicians can undertake associated sampling or sampling cylinders can be rented if required.
- A range of testing services are available to domestic and commercial gas distribution companies including analysis of mercaptan and THT odorants in natural gas and LPG.
- Analysis of greenhouse gas and low level hydrocarbons for industrial and process gases.
- On-site sampling and testing service for gas, oil and water. On-site laboratories can be set up where there is a requirement for an extended period of testing or when extremely rapid results are essential.
- Water analysis specifically tailored to the petroleum industry is also available.
- Environmental analysis on both soil and water for a complete range of organic and inorganic materials.
Analysis performed at Amdel is benchmarked to world standard practice ensuring international quality and performance. In addition to testing against known standards we readily offer advice and services in a range of petroleum related areas. This includes design of apropriate laboratory and on-site studies, definition of analytical requirements, evaluation and interpretation of petroleum and chemical laboratory data.
