Identification of polymers and fillers, subjects of concern (chromium, lead, cadmium) testing and performance investigations, quality control, anti-graffitti coatings.

Plastics and Rubbers:

Identification of polymers, filler and plasticiser content, strength and performance testing.

Concrete and Industrial Minerals:

Unconfined compressive strength, flexural strength, modulus of rupture, dimensional stability, linear thermal expansion, water absorption, bulk density, sand and aggregates.

Ceramic Tiles and Tile Adhesive Tests:

Anchor strength and corrosion resistance; sealant compatibility and weather, (UV) resistance, effectiveness of stain resistant sealers.

Dimension Stone and Masonary Products:

Cutting and coring, on-site moisture content, schmidt hammer hardness, thin section petrography, resistance to sulphate salt crystallisation, ultrasonic pulse velocity, acid resistance, stain resistance, permeability, freeze thaw cycles 5L/5T specimens.
