Amdel Acquires LabMark Analytical Laboratories

Amdel Limited (Amdel) is pleased to announce the acquisition of LabMark Pty Ltd (LabMark), one of Australia.s leading providers of Environmental analytical testing services.

This acquisition will merge LabMark with Amdel.s Environmental Laboratories, creating LabMark Environmental Laboratories.

The new LabMark Environmental Laboratories (LabMark) will further strengthen Amdel.s provision of premium quality services across all environmental markets throughout Australia.

With the Environmental sector experiencing a rapid growth phase, this acquisition creates a provider with strong representation in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Customers are demanding reliable, quality results within agreed time frames. The integration of LabMark into the Amdel family creates a network which will ensure these demands are met through the provision of a complete service package.

In December 2005, Amdel.s senior management team were supported by CHAMP Ventures in a management buyout of the Company. CHAMP Ventures is one of Australia.s leading private equity fund managers with a focus on mid-market management buyouts and expansion capital investments.

The acquisition of LabMark follows the purchase of Ultra Trace Geoanalytical in August 2007 and Independent Metallurgical Laboratories (IML) in April 2007.

Amdel provides testing services to the Minerals, Materials, Petroleum, Used Oil, and Environmental markets. Amdel continues to invest heavily in people, equipment and IT systems to meet the needs of these industries.
