Wingfield Expansion

Amdel Limited, one of Australia.s leading laboratory service companies since
1960, has continued its aggressive expansion plans in the booming minerals
market investing over $10million in the expansion of their Wingfield
laboratories.
Carefully selected in July of 2006, the Wingfield site accommodates future
expansion and the establishment in Adelaide of a world-class .Centre of
Excellence. for the minerals and exploration markets. Importantly the design
focuses on the utilisation of new techniques, creating a highly energy and water
efficient operational site.
Awarded under the Innovation and Investment Fund for Sounth Australia (IIFSA),
the Honourable Ian Macfarlane, MP Minister for Industry, Tourism and Resources
announced on 3 October 2007 that Amdel were successful in obtaining a Government
Grant of $1.84million for the undertaking of the expansion. The investment from
IIFSA was awarded to support sustainable job opportunities in SA.
With completion scheduled for March 2008, the expansion ensures Amdel will
continue to excel as a premier one-stop-shop for minerals testing across the
Base Metals, Uranium, Iron Ore, Gold, Nickel, Minerals Sands and Bauxite
markets.
Amdel CEO Steve McAllister believes .the expansion enables us to meet the ever
increasing demands of clients for a single laboratory to satisfy their entire
mineral analysis requirements, from exploration, assaying, grade control and
mineral processing solutions for process control and plant optimisation..
Wingfield is a prime industrial estate (just 10km N/W of the CBD) with excellent
access to major trucking and shipping corridors for local, national and
international customers. Situated on 16 Hectares of land, the Wingfield
facilities are being expanded in two stages to ensure continuity of services.
